The Art of Wheel Throwing
Origin of “To throw”: Old Engilish – twist, to turn, to propel.
Wheel throwing is the technique of shaping round ceramics on a potters wheel. The 'throwing' is the shaping part.
The wheels turns and rotates the clay so you can mold it into your desired shape with your two hands.
