  • Eric will be holding a series of two-day workshops on:
    - Thursday, January 23rd & Friday, January 24th
    - Saturday, January 25th & Sunday, January 26th

During the workshop, there will be instruction in clay preparation, centering, throwing various forms and trimming. In the mornings, you will be given a thorough introduction to the techniques that Eric Landon uses to get most out of the clay with a focus on efficiency and precision at the wheel. The workshop is hands-on where you will be practicing the techniques under the guidance and supervision from Eric. He will also be giving many demos throughout the two day workshops.

At the end of the two-day workshop, students can decide if they would like to keep any of the work they made. There is a flat fee of $75. This grants students access to our studio to finish trimming, bisque firing, glazing (we have a selection of 50 cone10 glazes), and glaze firing.

    Workshop Includes:

    • Snacks and refreshments provided throughout the two-day workshop.

You're welcome to bring your own meals, snacks, and drinks. We'll have designated areas for you to enjoy your food and connect with others. We have a refrigerator for anyone to use.

    • One complimentary bag of cone-10 B-Mix

    • We will provide basic communal tools but you’re totally welcome to bring your own or purchase from our store!

    *Firing included for GBC Members

*(Members: any work made from this workshop will not be deducted from monthly allotment of inches)

  • Due to high demand, please cancel by Monday, December 2nd for a full refund. Cancellations made 30 days before the workshop may receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made in under 30 days will not be eligible for a refund unless we are able to find a replacement for your spot in the workshop. We thank you for your understanding.

    • Will you be able to fire my work for me if I decide to keep anything from the workshop?

Yes, of course. There is a flat fee of $75. This grants students access to our studio to finish trimming, bisque firing, glazing (we have a selection of 50 cone10 glazes), and glaze firing.

    • I’m a beginner, can I take this workshop?

Yes! Eric is very happy to accommodate all students at any level.

    • What should I bring?

Your own tools if you have any. We have basic tools available for participants and Eric usually brings custom made tools for students to purchase. We also have a store on-site! Bring your apron and a towel too - you will be doing a lot of throwing in this two day workshop.
