    Hands-on Workshop #1: 10am to 1pm
    Hands-on Workshop #2: 2pm to 5pm

    Artist Talk & Demo:
Mr. Moon will share his methodology & techniques for throwing cylinders, bowls, large Moon jars, and several signature forms in his Artist Talk & Demo.

    Hands-on Demo:

During the 3 hour hand-on workshop, Moon will share his methodology and techniques for throwing large jars and altered forms. Stoneware clay work will be offered for ease of use and availability. Porcelain for large vessels requires additional time and attention, therefore participants will learn how to prepare the clay for best results, and learn throwing techniques directly alongside Mr. Moon.

At the end of the workshop, students can decide if they would like to keep any of the work they made. There is a flat fee of $75. This grants students access to our studio to finish trimming, bisque firing, glazing (we have a selection of 50 cone10 glazes), and glaze firing.

    Workshop Includes:

    • One complimentary bag of stoneware porcelain

    • We will provide basic communal tools but you’re totally welcome to bring your own or purchase from our store!
