Lab Tech & Lead Lab Tech

  • Green & Bisque Clayhouse is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Lab Technician. This part-time position of up to 20 hours per week with a starting wage of $20/hour. After a 3-month probation period, the hourly rate will increase to $21/hour

    During the probation period, we will assess the fit for both parties, ensuring that the role aligns with your skills and career goals. As a Lab Technician, your basic duties will include assisting with daily studio operations, including maintaining equipment, preparing materials, supporting the firing process, providing customer service to members and students and the community. Please note that your job duties are not limited to just those tasks listed above.

  • Green & Bisque Clayhouse is seeking a highly skilled, knowledgeable, and experienced individual to join our team as a Lead Lab Technician. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and high standards of our ceramics studio. We are offering a part-time position with guaranteed 20-30 hours per week, starting at $25 per hour. After a 3-month probation period, the salary will increase to $27 per hour. After an additional 3 month probation period, salary will increase up to $30/hour based on performance.

    During the 6 month probation period, both parties will have the opportunity to evaluate the fit. If the performance is exceptional, there is the potential for promotion to a full-time position, which includes full health benefits and a 401k plan.

    As a Lead Lab Technician, you will work closely with the Executive Director and General Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the studio. Your responsibilities will include managing firings, preparing glazes, and maintaining all studio equipment.
