From your first afternoon at the wheel or the hand-building table to a serious, ongoing practice — there's a way in for every level, age, and pace.

Our Signature Program

Six-Week Courses.

Once a week, two hours a session, for six weeks — plus a two-week grace period to complete all work in progress. Every course includes 40+ hours of open studio and a complimentary 25lbs bag of clay.

Session 6 of 2026 October 5 – November 15 $385 per course unless noted. Returning students save $25. Reminder: the shop is closed but the studio is open for open lab on November 26. The studio is closed November 27–29 for Holiday Market set-up and the main event.

01 · Instruction

Six weeks, plus two to finish

Each class meets once a week for six weeks — two hours of demonstrations and hands-on guidance from your instructor.

A two-week grace period follows for trimming and glazing.

02 · Open studio

Practice outside class

  • Mon – Fri10am – 9pm
  • Sat & Sun10am – 5pm

Available throughout the six-week instructional period.

03 · Firing

3,000 cubic inches

Measured as width × length × height. Independent Study students get 3,500. More inches are available in the shop — $50 per 1,500, or $0.10 each à la carte.

04 · Where you'll work

The front studio

All classes are held in our newly renovated front studio, with access to the main studio during lab hours and for glazing.

Returning students save $25 on every class.

Every course includes a complimentary 25 lb bag of clay and up to 3,000 cubic inches of fired work (3,500 for Independent Study). Additional inches are available for purchase.

Recommended pathways

New to clay? These show a natural progression — from your first class to an independent practice. But this is only a recommendation: there are no rules here. Take them in order, mix and match, or chart your own path — students are always free and encouraged to explore the craft however they like.

Weekend Warrior

$80· 2.5 hours· Wheel + hand-building

Experience both of the primary ways clay artists create — wheel throwing and hand-building — in one guided session. Your work is fired and glazed in the color of your choice; we'll email you when it's ready, about 4–6 weeks later.

Kids & Family

For young makers.

Four-week Sunday sessions that give kids room to get their hands dirty, make a mess, and make something they're proud of. Every class is capped at eight kids, and clay, tools, glazing, and firing are included.

$20 processing fee

It covers the card and scheduling fees already paid on your registration.

Windows are counted from the start date of your class.
