We welcome membership applications from ceramists able to work independently in a studio environment.
Green & Bisque Clayhouse memberships are in high demand.
We limit the number of new members accepted in order to maintain exceptional service.
Membership Benefits
$275 / month
Access.
Members have 24/7 access to the studio.
Cone 10 firing.
As of 2021,
we have added mid-range firing for Members as well.
Gold Luster firing.
Firing.
We pride ourselves on our efficient firing schedule maintained by our excellent lab technicians. Members have full access to over forty reliable Cone 10 glazes as well as mid-range firing option and 25+ mid-range glazes.
Gold-luster firings once a month.
Production.
Memberships include 4500 cubic inches for firing per month with the option to upgrade to 9000 inches per month.
All unused inches are rolled over.
Cubic inches can be found by measuring the dimensions of a piece.

Equipment.
Members may work in both studios plus our new outdoor working areas, equipped with a total of 52 Bailey XL wheels, heavy duty hand-building tables, and Shimpo work stools. Our main studio is equipped with banding tools, compressor & spray booth, Giffin grip, NorthStar extruder with over 30 dies, and a state of the art Bailey slab roller. We have five electric kilns for bisque firing and two brand new Geil kilns for Cone 10 glaze firing in reduction. A wide range of clays and tools are available for purchase in our on-site retail store.
Storage.
Every member is assigned their own personal locker plus additional clay storage on a separate shelf - up to 50 lbs of clay per member. We have a clean and clutter-free studio space as well as a systematically organized damp room for greenware storage.
Additional Perks.
Members receive discounts in our retail store, classes, workshops, and all other studio events. Sales opportunities are available through participation in studio sales and in our on-site retail store. Studio kitchenette and all bathrooms have been newly remodeled. The studio is maintained and cleaned around the clock by wonderful staff!
Members also have first priority to showcase and sell their work in our annual Holiday Market which usually falls on the first weekend of December.

However! Taking a class with us will help boost you to the top of the list but please note that memberships are not guaranteed.
Given the nature of our studio being open to members 24/7, it is important for us and the community to get to know one another before we offer a spot when one becomes available. Taking a class serves as a wonderful opportunity, not only for us to establish a relationship with one another, but for you to learn the ins and outs of our studio, how it functions, and to make sure that it’s the right fit for you!
